Luc Ooms is a 20-year old student from The Netherlands studying International Business and Languages at Rotterdam Business School. He was born in Belgium, but grew up in a small village in The Netherlands. Playing piano and listening to all sorts of music is two of his biggest passions. Next to that, he likes to travel around, especially Eastern-Europe. One of his biggest talents is learning new languages. His new goal is to learn Russian, which is why he chose an internship in Latvia. After work, Luc is always in for a nice drink at a pub. The reason he chose to do internship at Hieroglifs Latvia, is also because it is the perfect combination of Riga, a company that is open to help interns and because it operates in the language sector. In the future, Luc wants to have a job that involves international marketing activities and using different languages. Doing internship at Hieroglifs seems like the perfect preparation for this. He hopes to gain practical marketing experience and to learn how it is to work for an international company.
